It’s not easy choosing a designer or contractor. There are a lot of things to consider. We certainly aren’t envious of your position. But at The Sandhill, we would like to think we can make this choosing easier. We, and our past clients, think of ourselves as honest, direct, and open, not only about what we believe is possible for your project and budget, but also about how we price and organize a plan. We know that renovating a home is costly, time consuming, and stressful. We get it. Which is why we’ve spent years working though our processes making it easier for everyone—you and us. Along the way we think we have built something that’s pretty special.
A lot of this starts with our small crew who you will get to know well through the length of your project. We are on site almost everyday. We will come to understand every facet of the job and know how to keep the project moving forward. And isn’t that what you want? We are after all, being paid to come into your life, tear apart your house, then put it back together better—more functionally beautiful than it was before. Being trusted with your greatest asset is not something we take lightly.
We don't just remodel. We approach your project with the intention to understand how your new space will integrate into the existing though design and function. We work with you through detailed pre-construction planning, carefully sequenced demolition, and precise rebuilding. This systematic approach helps to eliminate common renovation pitfalls like timeline delays and budget overruns. Houses are complicated which is why we try to make sure all the systems in the house work together even before we tear open a wall.
And that’s all great, everyone wants a project that runs on time, is reasonably priced, and house that functions well, that’s warm in the winter, cool in the summer and designed to work. But we know the best part of any project is turning raw materials in into something stunning. We love worrying about the details. Well, maybe not the worrying part, but we love making them happen. We love obsessing over the grain of wood and the color of tile. We love thinking about light and shadow and space. We love the idea of it all which is why we do this in the first place, so we can make something awe-inspiring and incredibly brilliant.
